Half Marathon Training

After multiple suggestions I decided to go with the Hal Higdon's half marathon training program. I felt like it fit my schedule better than the others even though I may have to switch up a day up every other week.



Monday started week 1 of my training. So far it just feels like a normal week for me. I imagine it will get a little bit harder as I progress. I am definitely up for the challenge though! :)

A long with that program, I am doing the 30 day ab challenge. That's definitely a work out. I usually do it after my runs or work outs. I am slowly starting to see a little results. :)

I hope to do a recap of the previous training week at the beginning of each new week.


Do you have any races you are currently training for? If so, how is it going?

    I have a 5K in a couple of weeks, a 10 miler in October and a half marathon in December. Training is ok. I had to take a bit of a break due to surgery, so I'm starting to get back into it.
